Out with the old in with the new, there is nothing wrong with wearing

If running low on socks, buy a batch of identical socks e.g. black/navy
dress socks, Invisible trainer socks, tube socks etc as required. These can be

Why Not Watch A Football Match?
Football fans would be
happy to know that when in Ghana champion’s league fixtures are shown without
fail at certain night spots on Wednesday. Why not go and watch a football match
at the stadium. Outside of Accra prices are a little cheaper. Interestingly in
Ghana’s second city it costs C2 to see a match at the stadium and C7 for premiership
fixtures.

A busseling street lined with various night spots, serving a variety of bottled
continental, local and non alcoholic beverages. It is a lively place to relax
and nightlife can be lively however bare in mind that in Ghana going out on the
town is reserved for Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights as these seem
to be when all the actual hotels and clubs are open for business. Exceptions to
the rule include match days when in Kumasi Wednesday and Sunday.
Ghana–Taxis Part 2
There are two mains
types of taxis in Ghana, Dropping taxis and shared taxis, The dropping system
works in the same way that a taxi cab operates. There are also shared taxis
that have travel along a planed route and have a fixed price per person who
wishes embarks on the journey to the agreed location, these shared taxis work
exactly the same as a tro tro does. The main difference is that Ghanaian taxis
are not metered therefore take note of how much you pay for journeys as prices
inflate during rush hour and you will need to negotiate a fair price. Taxis
account for 80% of road vehicles on the road and are relatively in expensive
compared to western standards.

I Like It A Lot - Guide To Ghana
Accra is relatively
crime free however never assume that crime doesn’t exist everywhere, statistics
would suggest that violent crimes against tourists remain low in comparison to
Nairobi, Lagos, or Johannesburg. That being said bag snatching, also hold up’s
at gun point and knife point are most likely to happen after dark off popular
beach resorts such as Oxford Street and around Osu etc. It pays to be
streetwise, follow rules of urban survival as you would in any urban city . in
general I have not witnessed anything that would lead me to believe that Accra
in general is a cause for concern, as it seems as safe and hassle free as any
other African city once you get used to the street urchins and hawkers.

near Sprintex road by Tetteh Quarshie Circle, home to the usual fried fast food
joints, the mall is also home to Rhapsody a trendy new South African restaurant
specialising in meat and game, excellent cocktails and tasty food, the ice
cream still had icicles in it and cost C7 I regretted order it and would prefer
to have had a fan ice instead. The portions were meagre and the steak that came
with what looked like the best combination on the menu * Laurel and Hardy*
C35.00 was tiny. And the portion of chips came on a side plate that looked as
if were kids sized, the entire meal left me pissed off thinking I could make
better at home. The highlight of the evening without a doubt were the
cocktails, most notably the Taxi Cab, Rhapsody transform’s into a club with
live music on Thursday, Friday and Saturday therefore the venue is over 23’s
only after 6pm.

PlayStation® Game Runners - Next Level Street Gaming
PlayStation Game Runners is an experimental project where PlayStation, members of the public and young people from diverse backgrounds have come together to create social games; PlayStation believe the best games are played as a group.
About BLOCKS:
BLOCKS is a three-dimensional game of strategy and precision movement.
Two opposing players take it in turns to place the blocks in a 2 x 2
tower. Every face of the block has a PlayStation symbol on it. When a player
places a block the symbols on all touching faces
must match.
Here’s the tricky bit: all the blocks are a little bit uneven, and so stacking a high tower gets harder and harder. The player who lets the tower topple, or who runs out of time to make a move, loses the game. You’ll need a logical mind and a steady hand to triumph!
Now that BLOCKS has been announced as the winning game it will be put forward into development and the public will have the chance to check out the game on Friday October 8th in London during an open day where anyone can drop in and try BLOCKS followed by a competition in the evening.

Introducing Katy B (Many of you already are down)
Katie Brien, better known as Katy B hails from South London, an edgy, street sound that is rich and unusual in a climate populated by safe artists or artists who copy other artist (Beyonce/Rihanna world) There is no other female on the UK Music scene bringing a freshness that could be compared to what sugababes(original line up/Lilly Allen/ Rihanna) have come to represent in 2010. Most similar to Rita Ora but with more material released in the UK. Katie has originality, streetwise cool, with the ability to write and arrange her own music. Being a Singer and a graduate having completed a degree in Popular Music at Goldsmiths, University of London this year she seems to be able to express herself lyrically at a standard that is up there with Ms/ Lady Dynamite. I like it alot and am lookiung forward to the album, however there is no official website or scheduled release dates from Katy. The first time I heard Katy b was out at Yoyo, when DJ Seb? Leo? Mane Norte? played one of my favourite tracks on a mission.

Twister Documentary to coincide with the release of new material.
Chicago rapper Twista will be the subject of a new documentary produced by the Vladar Co., slated for October release in conjunction with the musician's new album. Some have already questioned if there is space in the industry for Twister to make a comeback however, it is evident that he is versatile enough to be successful and survive in the current climate with other mc’s, Twista has always been innovative, previous stand out examples are Slow Jams ft Kanye West. They say that you are only as good as your last performance, kamikaze was a respectable body of work released 7 years ago.

News just in 12:27 Tuesday 3rd August 2010, a fire at Quicksilver in Regent Street is spreading to Apple! More information as it becomes clear what the cause of the fire is, The Apple store has been evacuated and a sea of blue tops are outside Llyods bank. No casualties and no fatalities so far.

Joint statement from RIM Co-CEOs in response to comments by Apple
Hot topic Apple's iphone 4 has been blasted by other smart phone manufacturers who have been releasing statements slamming Apple. RIM's Co-CEO's responded to misleading statements from Apple in a press release:
The white iphone4 has now been pushed back to December 2010, just in time for a White Christmas.
Apple’s attempt to draw RIM into Apple’s self-made debacle is unacceptable. Apple’s claims about RIM products appear to be deliberate attempts to distort the public’s understanding of an antenna design issue and to deflect attention from Apple’s difficult situation. RIM is a global leader in antenna design and has been successfully designing industry-leading wireless data products with efficient and effective radio performance for over 20 years. During that time, RIM has avoided designs like the one Apple used in the iPhone 4 and instead has used innovative designs which reduce the risk for dropped calls, especially in areas of lower coverage.
One thing is for certain, RIM’s customers don’t need to use a case for their BlackBerry® smartphone to maintain proper connectivity. M.I.A sounded more than a little salty according to a pull quote cited over at Love B Scott;
