Burberry Explosion
Back with a bang, The Burberry British Men's Summer 2010 collection is refreshing, clean and crisp. I particularly like the use of khaki pallet fused with the reinvention of the iconic Burberry check. Fabrics of choice are denim, cotton, leather and nylon.

Dine in the Dark (Dans Le Noir)
Only a stone throw away from the Nathional Institute for the blind nothing can
prepare you for the unique sensory experience that is Dans Le Noir. It works
like this; you sign in at the waiting area, put all phones and anything else
that might emit light in a locker, then you select a coloured menu that corresponds
with a surprise. The content of menu will only be revealed at the end of the
night. Following storing of items in lockers you will be introduced to your
host for the evening who will lead your guest(s) through three sets of velvet
drapes to your table in a dark room. You literally can’t see anything. Leaving
you to rely wholly on the remaining four senses and the blind host assigned to
you. You’ve never tasted food like this before, that’s for sure. And because
you can’t see who’s next to you, everyday judgments and fears are removed and touching
your neighbours becomes irresistible. Dans Le Noir is a memorable, pleasant and
unforgettable experience that everyone should try at least once. The chefs
constantly update the menus in order to keep the experience fresh and therefore
repeat dinners will be permitted to broaden their taste horizons by trying a
variety of other surprise menus.

Alicia Keys Element of Freedom/ World Aids day Full Concert
Alicia Keys performed a World Aids Day Special performance in conjunction with the promotion of her up coming album The Element of Freedom at the Nokia Theater in Manhattan on Tuesday night. I am eagerly anticipating the new album and am looking forward to seeing Alicia Keys in London, details of the Element of Freedom tour dates will be posted as and when they appear. If this show is anything to go by expect a showing that is beautiful, intimate and soulful. Many artist struggle to make it on a world stage and New Yorker Alicia Keys is not one of them. Songs in A Minor, Diary of Alicia Keys, As I Am are all extraordinary bodies if work that are timeless. Both singles from the Element of Freedom are nothing less than what is required to make this one of the best modern r'n'b/soul/ blues/jazz fusion albums of late free from auto tune 2009. I am happy that Alicia is really coming into her own and I hope that Alicia has rejects her previous boring persona that the record label/publicists create and is showing us more interesting facets of her being an excellent performance artist, singer, songwriter and interesting personality. The Element if Freedom is released world wide December 15, 2009

The video for Jermih Raindrops, the follow up single to Birthday Sex has finally appeared. The self titled album is available now on amazon.com for $5.00. No details on a release date for an album release jn the UK have been confirmed which is surprising in an industry which has a huge vacancy for credible R'n'b Male vocalist that will be able to move units in the U.S as well as in Europe.

Get Some 002 @ The Book Club
The start of the holiday
party scene is just a few days away. I can think of no better way to kick it
off than by attending Get Some Part 002 @ The Book Club Shoreditch. Having attended part 001 part 002 is
going to be spectacular if it is even half as good as the set SSG dropped at last
event, which had speakers vibrating some of the best House, Electro, Dubstep
& Breaks mixed live creating a refreshing sounding set that was innovative,
credible and well received by the masses tired of the typical west end club
scene which is an arrogant hype consisting of high entry fee, expensive drinks,
any whores behind a velvet rope and some guys who do not mix live and only play
the driest, most played out tunes back to back using only the cross fader yet
have the audacity to call themselves dj’s. If you too want to break the cycle
of dead scenes that fail to get started, attending get some will get you
excited about what is really good in underground scene. Get involved or get lost!
Free before 10pm, £5 after
