Leona sick of being called London ghetto girl

The 25-year-old second coming of Mariah Carey international superstar, who in past said she was "proud to be a Hackney girl", set the record straight in a interview with Instyle magazine: "I think people have misconstrued the whole Hackney thing. I grew up in a nice house in a nice part of Hackney." The ‘Happy’ singer, who attended both Sylvia Young and Italia Conti, added: "My parents worked really hard for me to have a nice education. People are like ‘She lived on a council estate' but that wasn’t my experience."
