Rio Ferdinand and Ashley Cole are two footballers that earn £100,000 a
week plus which have enabled them to finance and executive produce Dead Man
Running which had its premier in Leicester Square Tonight. Dead Man Running is
a gangster britflick set in the mean streets of London town and stars 50 Cent,
Brenda Blethyn, Danny Dyer and Tamer Hassan. Although some have criticized the
film suggesting that it glamorizes gun and knife crime, Ferdinand has helped
provide members of his Live The Dream Foundation with work as runners on the
film set, as well as using his celebrity status to give back to the local
community. The film tells the story of Nick Kane and his 24 hour race to find £100,000
or else. Dead Man Running is released on the 30th October in selected cinemas.
