International Super Star Rihanna uses her celebrity status for good in order to help raise awareness for the global water crisis. The grammy award winning singer has teamed up with Unicef for it's tap project which aims to raise awareness of the lack of access to clean drinking water for 900 million people worldwide. Other celebrities are involved in the project however this is Rihanna's second collaboration with Unicef since the success of The Gucci Tattoo Heart Collection which featured Rihanna as the face and spokes person of the campaign which comprised of an entire collection of luxury handbags, clutches, totes, messenger bags of which 25% of proceeds went directly to the charity. Rihanna is known for her amazing style, charisma and a barrage of number one hit singles including Umbrella, Only Girl In The World, Please Don't Stop The Music, What's My Name and Live Your Life to name a few, but many do not know that Rihanna is also the ambassador of her own charity The Believe Foundation.

J Cole supporting Drake on Saturday night in London generated a buzz like no other I have witnessed for a support act. J Cole aka Hollywood Cole (People's Champion) captivated his audience. As soon as the lights went down for showtime the audience reaction to the announcement of J Cole was insane, they were reciting every lyric to every song including Grown Simba, Lights Please, Welcome, Star Is Born et al. It is one thing to be a music enthusiast and to know all the songs, but for your average.... this was the best support act setting the tone for the evening, which is unusual for a hip hop concert where a support act raises the bar. This new phenomenon, where the new artist has no album out and everybody know's the lyrics to every song on the mixtape should directly contribute to a huge surge in album sales. Hopefully J.Cole will chart at #1 when his debut drops in the spring. Tonight, though the highlight of the set was Who Dat, there is no contest J Cole's set the standard of what needs to be done internationally, flow was amazing, energy levels, and world class showmanship, taking to the stage like an international rap superstar that had already gone Platinum, North Carolina was definitely in the building, representing for the dudes.

Accra mall is locatednear Sprintex road by Tetteh Quarshie Circle, home to the usual fried fast foodjoints, the mall is also home to Rhapsody a trendy new South African restaurantspecialising in meat and game, excellent cocktails and tasty food, the icecream still had icicles in it and cost C7 I regretted order it and would preferto have had a fan ice instead. The portions were meagre and the steak that camewith what looked like the best combination on the menu * Laurel and Hardy*C35.00 was tiny. And the portion of chips came on a side plate that looked asif were kids sized, the entire meal left me pissed off thinking I could makebetter at home. The highlight of the evening without a doubt were thecocktails, most notably the Taxi Cab, Rhapsody transform’s into a club withlive music on Thursday, Friday and Saturday therefore the venue is over 23’sonly after 6pm.
